Is that the SUN I see!?

Once again, we have been blessed with a nice day. I spent the bulk of it locked up in a basement (technically, I was down there voluntarily since I chose to work there but it felt like I was on lock down today). It was still nice out when I managed to bail at 5 PM.

I decided it was too good a day to waste and resolved to squeeze in a walk before dinner. As soon as I got home, I changed into appropriate clothing including a hoodie despite the “niceness”. I do not like feeling cold so I make sure I bundle up whenever I can.

Armed with my headsets and sunglasses to protect my sensitive to light eyes, I set on my quest to the park across my house. Best decision ever. I enjoyed the walk and took pictures, the coolest part of my walk. I do however need a proper camera. In the meantime, my phone wasn’t too shabby.

This little stream is finally getting its life back with the snow thawing.

I was taking pictures every step of the way.

Watching the sunset was fun to do especially since I do not remember the last time I actually ever did this.

It seems like winter lasted forever.! Of course I am exaggerating just a tad bit but I am sure if you are in Chicago then you know exactly what I am talking about.

Also, we have this little sign strewn all over the path to reminder wheelers to make way for pedestrians 😊

It was fun exploring today and I will definitely be back and of course take more pictures.

Also looking forward to biking around here. Haven’t done much since I only moved here some time last year when winter was getting its groove on.

Okay, one last pic and I am outta here, I promise.

About KayCee

The About Me section is always the hardest part for me to do. I never seem to know how to fill it in but I will try. Here goes; I am a fun loving person who also happens to be somewhat anti-social. This is not deliberate, I just lack social skills. Anyway, I love to write about pretty much anything but I have dedicated this page to talking about my life with hyperhidrosis and how it affects the most mundane tasks. I love laughing. It can be annoying because people think I don't take them seriously when I laugh but I do. Laughter works as defense mechanism when I feel cornered or just cannot give an answer right away. Or when I really feel the need to laugh :) I am usually quiet til I know you. A bit of a cynic but I always try to see the good in people. I still believe in humanity at the same time wondering if we will make it. I am a walking contradiction apparently. And that is it about me. Happy reading! :)
